Monday Ride Schedule
These rides leave from the Old Mill Parking lot in Buhler at 7:00 p.m. every Monday evening.
These are the first and third Monday's of each month. The second Monday's will be ladies choice and the fourth one will be just a random pick.
May 3rd - Sonic in Kingman
May 17th - DQ in Newton
June 7th - Jimmie's Diner in Wichita
June 21st - J & B Dairyland in Sterling
July 5th - Cardinal Corner in Cheney
July 16th - Sonic in Hesston
Aug 5th - The Hanger (This is a Thurs night that we'll check into and get you more info as the time gets closer)
Aug 16th - Bullseye in Yoder
Sept 9th - Cardinal Corner in Cheney
Sept 20th - Sonic in Newton

Monthly Rides
Scheduled Rides for 2010
Our tentative scheduled monthly rides for the 2010 summer riding season are as follows:
May 15 Marquette--“Thunder on the Smoky” motorcycle rally
June 5 Medicine Lodge—Take a tour of the beautiful gypsum hills and canyons.
June 26 Abilene--“Brookville Hotel” One of our most popular dinner rides last year!
July 24 Beaumont—a great ride through the flint hills to a 50’s style diner with an airport runway leading up to the front door!
Aug 14-15 St John--“Rally in the Valley” This 2-day event is a must-do with activities centered around the square on Saturday followed by a “Biker Service” with Roger Cooper on Sunday.
Sept 11 Kanopolis Lake—Ride to the lake and enjoy a cookout by the water.
Sept 29 – Oct 2 Fayetteville, AR—Bikes Blues and Barbeque motorcycle rally. It’s in Arkansas, what more can we say! Looking to leave Thursday the 30th early in the morning. Plan to return Sunday Oct 3rd.
In the event of a rain-out, ride will be bumped forward one week if possible.

1. Who is Kansas Iron Riders?
Kansas Iron Riders is a motorcycle group formed in 2009 by several guys in the Buhler and Hutchinson area. Our motto is taken from Proverbs 27:17, As Iron Sharpens Iron, So One Man Sharpens Another
2. What is the purpose of Kansas Iron Riders?
Our purpose in forming the group is two-fold. First, we want to have fun, build friendships and give other motorcyclists an opportunity to join us. Second, we want to be available to serve the communities in which we live by helping out wherever there is a need.
3. Does Kansas Iron Riders offer scheduled rides?
Our goal is to offer at least one scheduled ride per month and a weekly milkshake run every Monday evening. In addition we will offer at least one longer out of state ride over a 3 day weekend.
4. How do I know if a ride is cancelled because of weather?
In the event of a cancellation or time change, our website will be updated on the day of the ride at http://www.kansasironriders.org/ . It will be beneficial to check the site for updates if the weather is questionable. You may also feel free to contact anyone listed on the back for further information.
5. What is the membership fee involved?
From the very beginning we have tried to be sensitive in keeping the cost affordable to join Kansas Iron Riders. When you join, you will be charged a one time fee of $50. This will get you 2 large patches to go on your jacket and vest as well as 2 small patches for a shirt, cap or do-rag. Additional patches are available upon request. (See application form)
6. If I have a friend who is not a member of KIR can he still go on a scheduled ride with me?
Yes, of course. We want our rides to be as enjoyable as possible for everyone. If you have a friend who wants to check it out, by all means bring them along.
